CONCEPT:
The story of Shrek has become a well known modern classic. He has always been seen as the outcast and underneath his tough exterior has yearned for acceptance. In our retelling of the story, we turn to look at Fiona. She wants more than anything to be like the princesses she reads in her fairytale books, hiding away her ogre-ness to be that "perfect" person. Shrek, who is comfortable with being an ogre and embraces it and who he is, helps Fiona realize that she doesn't need to change or hide away any side of her to be a perfect being.
