Max O. Chang (Franklin D. Roosevelt) is a local Bay Area Director/Performer with 17 years of experience! No stranger to Children’s theatre, Max most recently was an assistant teaching artist for Town Hall’s Theatre production of Wonka Jr.
Outside of that, He’s performed in numerous theaters such as Masquers Playhouse, TMC Arts, Chanticleers, Plethos. With One Stage, he’s performed as “Beast” in the Beauty of the Beast
and as “Mr. Darcy” in Pride and Prejudice.
Other performance credits: “Picasso at the Lapin Agile” (Picasso) as well as shows such as Uncle Vanya, Romeo and Juliet, Bright Star, Six Degrees of Separation, The Crucible, and as a puppeteer for Little Shop of Horrors. Max also works behind the scenes. Last year, Max directed a full stage play production of Yellow Face
by David Henry Hwang at the Douglas Morrison Theatre. Other roles include: Stage Manager, Sound Design, Assistant Director, Social Media content creator. Max is beyond elated to be a part of this production and excited to curate a wonderful experience for children’s theatre.
