Tech Week: April 21 - April 25 (Sunday 4-9pm, Monday-Thursday 5-9:30pm) in Union City
Performances: Friday April 26 at 7:30pm, Saturday April 27 at 2pm, and Sunday April 28 at 2pm in Union City

Video Submissions: Please begin by stating your name and what story selection you'll be reading. Make sure you are well lit and are in focus, and are in the frame from your waist up. Email your video, headshot, resume (if you have one), and audition form with subject line "Alice in Wonderland Audition Submission" to admin@stageonetheatre.org

Character Breakdown:
Hercule Poirot (Male, 40s–60s, Belgian)
The world-renowned Belgian detective with a mix of Intelligence and meticulous attention to detail. He possesses a dry sense of humor and a strong moral compass. His demeanor is distinct and refined. He acts as the central figure of this mystery.
Monsieur Bouc (Male, 30s–50s, Belgian)
The director of the Wagon Lit train company and Poirot’s friend. Energetic, lively, and possesses a bit of showmanship. He brings a bit of comic relief while also being sincere in his desire to help Poirot solve the case.
Mary Debenham (Female, 20s–30s, British)
A calm, collected English governess. Intelligent, guarded, and cool under pressure. She hides deep emotions and a mysterious past. On the side, she has a romantic connection to Colonel Arbuthnot, one that is hidden from the public eye.
Colonel Arbuthnot (Male, 30s–40s, Scottish)
A handsome, upstanding military officer. Proud, principled, and reserved. He displays loyalty and affection specifically for Mary Debenham. Under the pressure of the investigation, he has his moments of frustration and anger.
Princess Dragomiroff (Female, 60s–70s, Russian)
A wealthy, aristocratic Russian princess. Authoritative and formidable in appearance. She commands the room with her regal voice and appearance. She possesses an intimidating and imposing presence and is often emotionally cold.
Greta Ohlsson (Female, 20s–40s, Swedish)
A nervous and delicate Swedish missionary/nurse, she’s emotionally sensitive and oftentimes easily flustered. She’s deeply religious and kind-hearted in nature while also hiding an internal conflict in the case.
Countess Andrenyi (Female, 20s–30s, Hungarian)
Beautiful, graceful, and elegant. Her looks and demeanor bring a warm and inviting vibe. She’s smart, poised, and surprisingly resourceful. Has a mysterious and tragic past that links her to the crime.
Helen Hubbard (Female, 40s–60s, American)
A loud, flamboyant American woman from Minnesota. Often brash, and attention-seeking. She’s chatty and flirtatious but ultimately reveals surprising depth and sincerity. Requires excellent comedic timing.
Michel (Male, 30s–50s, French)
The conductor of the train. Hardworking and professional, with a thick French accent. Has a surprising emotional connection to the murder case.

Samuel Ratchett (Male, 30–50s, American)
A rough, sinister American businessman. Has an imposing presence and a shady past. Forceful and demanding, he’s generally unliked by most in the public eye on appearance alone. He’s the victim of the murder.
